Family trips and clicks!

Last friday another family relative traveled from Norway to visit us here in Sweden. She just arrived from Philippines a week ago but to Norway since her husband is a norwegian. She felt lonely and sick since, not like us we are already few here that can take care for each other when this sickness called ‘homesick’ strikes!

The lady in red she is. She just got married last July as I posted about her wedding here. And now finally she had given a visa so soon and out of our expectation. Luck just keep on coming!

She’s back now to norway with her husband. She already starts her study on thir language. We’re hoping on summer time tha we can visit them there! She will have a hard time, but like us, it will soon be fine! Goodluck Bernadeth and God Bless! Welcome!

When we travel to different places, we always want to have something bought from that particular place we have been, a sort of remembrance! And mostly we have to buy something as presents for our loveones back home. In the same way, when we are living abroad, our family back home want something from our place if we happen to visit or go home.

Every time I travel home, I always have atleast flannel shirts for men for my brothers and for my father since its not so common there and thats what they always asked for. Other stuff also of course but those are  good ones I think. They look so happy everytime!

Most people here in Sweden chose to live in an apartment than in a house specially if they are just couples or singles. But when we become a family and with couple of children, we always wish to have a house . And thats our situation now. We are still living in an apartment but since we already have children we already start looking for a house nowadays. It’s exciting to fix something in your house in your own choice like in my kitchen, I want it to be undermount sinks since its easier to clean and easy to fit. And also the toilet, I have in my mind how it should be and how it should look. And other parts of the house!

Well, I know in a right time God will grant the desires of our heart. He is great in taking care of His children! I’m just excited and full of plans!

Here in blogland as I am not tired of saying that I have already found good friends through the net though didn’t met in personal yet, but I knowthey are already my friends.

Just recently before the year 2011 ended, I recieved a notice that I have package to be picked-up. I was wondering from whome can this be since I was not expecting any package at all. And so in curiousity , I right away went to the post office to get it.

Here’s inside the package and then it’s from Texas and from my blogger friend Dhemcy Dias. I was really touch and was thinking, one of these days, I wish we can travel Texas to have some vacation with my family as usual:) And hope to meet this wonderful family of course! Thank you very much! ay the Lord will continue to bless you for your kindness ad thoughtfulness! You just do not know how it gave happiness to me! Godbless!

We thought we will miss ‘christmas at Liseberg’ this year. This place is like a fantasy world and lots of fun shows every christmas and lots to see that are good for family. Every year during christmas season, we used to visit here. We missed last year since we were in Philippines spending our holidays but this year we almost missed it again. We were packed up of so many things on our hectic schedules, but thank God we did it any way on the last hours. That was the last day and short hours before they close the season.

Since that was still working day, we really came there on their last hours, 3 hours left to be exact. But we still were lucky because since it was their last, they presented a nicest show ever. My children even Erika really enjoyed and saw a winter wonder land!

We also visited the santas place which Angelikka was longing for and an exciting place formy little one! She really enjoyed the place!

So special also when we were there when it closes when, no more there but only few left. The amazing lights and and bright trees seems solemnly waving us saying, so long my friends, see you next year. hehe! Well, that was another fine da with my family! Godbless!

Every Christmas time, I always make sure we have a family picture in the christmas tree with gifts as our background! And it’s so wonderful to see this year that we are already complete as a family!

It feels so good we are already four in the picture. As I said, we planned from the beginning to have two children, that is why when we still have Laikka, my eldest, I didn’t feel that we were already complete but this time I can say we are;)

Though this is not my youngest’s first christmas, but this is our first family christmas time picture as four, since last christmas when she was only two months old, we were with my family in Philippines and we have no control of the kind of celebration we had that time! So, I can say that this is our first official family photo with our christmas tree and at our simple home! Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to all!

For every children, giving and recieving gifts  is the most exciting thing to happen every christmas time. So like us who loves children, we have really few that we need to have gift wrapped for them.

Yes, as you can see I’m done and it’s quite plenty;) We are rich with little friends and so those gifts above are for them only! Sorry to the big ones, all our love is for you anyway, cannot be wrapped..hhehe! So, dear little ones, santa is coming for delivery but you can also pick it up because it’s all ready for you!!! Ho,ho,ho! Merry Christmas from my whole family!

In the hospitals and in any healthcare situation, it is very important to have barcode scanners to read exactly the right medication of that certain medicine to the patient. There were many situations before that patients became worse or even died because of overdose or  didn’t get better because the dosage given was not exact. These cases have already been lessen nowadays since there’s already this many good technologies that helps. I’m sure as this year ends and another new year to come, there will be more new high technologies that will rise and be found out that I hope will be more helpful than make things more complicated!

We never expect we still can shop for christmas gifts for our dear family and friends. We have in our tight budget this month. But then, I know God will provide and nothing can stop us celebrating christmas since its just once in a year, a very important season of the year actually! So even if its alreay a last minute shopping, my whole family went and hit the road again to the huge shopping center here in Sweden and cheaper!

Here’s how it looks when you shop on this shopping center. It’s a few kilometers drive but if you’ll shop many you will save much! The prices almost half lesser than the nearby store! It looks hard for us shopping with our small children but fortunately we have behave kids so it was no problem in our part!

There’s a foodcourt also inside that store so we just sit there and eat during lnch time and continue shopping when finished. It was a long day but fulfilling and I’m so happy we have something for our loveones this christmas! Ho!ho!ho! Merry Christmas;) Santa Claus soon coming to you!wink* Have a great day everyone!

Starting in January, there is the Citrus Festival, Seaworld Orlando (also in February), and the Gasparilla Pirate Fest (or Feb.). In February, there is also the State Fair, Silver Spurs Rodeo (also in June) and the start of Universal’s Mardi Gras (till April). March has the Daytona Beach Bike Week, the start of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival (till May), Film Festival (also in April), the Renaissance Festival, Strawberry Festival, International Film Festival, and Springing The Blues Festival (also in April).

It’s also good to find holidays to Florida   on the month of May cause it has the Zellwood Sweetcorn Festival. June has the Cuban American Heritage Festival, Disney’s Starwars Weekends, Fiesta Five Flags, Dance Festival (also in July), Miss Florida Pageant, July also has the Freedom Fireworks, and the Miss Florida USA Pageant. September has the Disney’s Night Of Joy, the start of the Food & Wine Festival (which lasts until November), Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Pensacola Seafood Festival, and Universal’s Rock The Universe. October is filled starting with Daytona Beach Biketoberfest, then Fall Festivals (also in November), Halloween Trains, Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (also in November), and Scott’s Corn Maze. November starts with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (and December), and Sarasota Blues Festival.
