Since, this months topic on Tuesday’s Travels is about Festivals in particular places, I would love to share my own town’s- Ormoc,PI ”Tugob Festival for my entry this week!
I just heard last year that Ormoc City, Philippines, yap my home native land, celebrated their first TUGOB Festival. The word ‘TUGOB’ is a visayan term which means “FULL” or “ABUNDANT”. Yes, Ormoc City has been blessed abundantly and in many things there is abundance. How I wish that someday I am home when they celebrates this thanks giving festival. Yes, it falls every October and they just celebrated their second year.
Schools and offices from teenagers to adults has their wonderful presentations and how I wish to watch and be there! Yeah, a proud Ormocanon am I! Have a wonderful Feista!
