Orlando in Florida is known for being the theme park capital of the world, and it really has something for everyone. Direct holidays has some fantastic holiday deals to
Orlando this summer, so why not make 2012 the year that you see what this dream
destination is all about?

Among the amazing variety of Florida attractions you’ll find:

Walt Disney World

For anyone with young children Walt Disney World really is the big dream. Imagine the look of wonder on little faces when taking in the iconic Disney castle, or meeting Mickey and Minnie mouse for the first time? If you have under ten’s, the Magic Kingdom is bound to be a massive highlight of your holiday.

However, don’t write Disney off as being just for young princes and princesses. The other Disney World parks, including technology and space themed Epcot, animal themed Animal Kingdom and the movie themed Disney MGM Studios park, have a lot to offer dreamers and movie fans of all ages.

Universal Studios and the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure park are two more great attractions for movie fans, with rides and attractions themed on some great, well-known blockbusters like Jaws, Terminator, Back to the Future and Men In Black. The wonders of the internet have brought us all many things we can now hardly imagine our lives without and it is also delivering some genuinely fantastic ski holidays at significantly discounted prices. So a simple online search enables anyone who’d like to hit the slopes in the coming months to draw up a lengthy list of cheap ski holidays that just might fit the bill for themselves and their fellow travellers.

The list of destinations that cheap ski holidays incorporate these days is essentially the same as a list of great ski holidays of any kind around Europe and the rest of the world. So from the Alps to Aspen you can bag yourself a bargain by looking online and if you’ve got the nerve then you can wait for seriously low-cost last minute package deals to be made available. As with any other kind of holiday, tour operators and accommodation owners have no interest in seeing their holidays or their rooms going unused during the winter months and so the most astute consumers can save themselves some considerable sums and land themselves a truly excellent vacation.

When it comes to finding just the right ski holiday, whether you’ve landed a bargain or not, a key issue is always likely to be the kind of accommodation you opt for. There is plenty to be said for the luxury of high-quality hotels and the convenience of slope-side apartments but chalets are always popular with families and with groups of friends enjoying ski holidays in Europe. Chalets after all offer a unique home-from-home experience that many of us consider to be one of the most charming aspects of a holiday based around getting stuck in to some serious winter sports.

No-one can guarantee you the perfect weather while you’re enjoying your hill-side escape but it has never been easier to find the ideal accommodation and just the kind of holiday you’ve been looking for.

Top Family Travel Destinations

Disneyland was once the primer go-to vacation destination for the entire family. It had something for everyone- entertainment, food, shows and rides. Over the years, Disneyland has gained some serious competition against resorts and travel destinations hoping to offer an alternative spot for families to relax. With more and more options available, families may find several choices open to them and, with such versatility, these travel locations are sure to be as enjoyable for children as they are for adults.

  • The Breakers, Palm Beach, Florida – Peppered with Renaissance-style resorts, this beach getaway provides the perfect backdrop for a summer vacation. With family restaurants lining the beach and kids camps entertaining your little ones, there’s plenty to do while visiting The Breakers. With activities ranging from family kickball tournaments, summertime bonfires and arts and crafts, children will never utter the words, “Mom, Dad – I’m bored” while you’re away. If you need to escape the children for a bit, you can leave them with certified babysitters and enjoy the five-star amenities that includes, two golf courses, a day spa and a fitness center. The hospitality managers will sure to keep you pleased and relaxed while visiting the resort.
  • Hilton Waikoloa Village, Waikoloa, Hawaii – The Hilton Island resort in Waikoloa provides a bevy of child-centered activities for kids. Parents can enroll their children in Camp Menehune, a day and night camp where children will explore tide pools, feed koi and swans and hunt for treasure. Waikoloa Village is also a Dolphin lover’s paradise, where parents and kids get to feed, interact and swim with these beloved creatures, and with programs for adults and kids, everyone will be satisfied.
Parents hoping for some alone time can also stray off while kids are away at camp and enjoy a four-acre lagoon; take a kayak tour, snorkel and go on a whale-watching trip. With evening island dancing and music, parents and kids will feel the festive culture Waikoloa Village has to offer.
  • Winnetu Oceanside Resort, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts – Similar to The Breakers, Winnetu Oceanside Resort offers a seaside location where children will partake in magic shows, visit a farm and bond with their parents. Each child will be paired up with a counselor along four to five other children. Counselors will plan out activities for you and your children that include treasure hunts, group games, swimming and remote-controlled boat races.
With morning and evening programs for kids for children ages 3-to-12, Oceanside Resort offers beach activities for kids as well as an early childhood educational program centered on farm animals. Children will even learn how to make goat cheese and shear sheep from certified professionals.
  • Disneyland, Anaheim, California/Disney World, Orlando, Florida – Okay, so the Disney theme parks may have plenty of competition when it comes to kid-friendly vacation destinations, but it’s still one of the best places to visit. With iconic characters roaming across the park, fun-filled rides peppering the landscape and entertaining shows to watch, adults and children are sure to love what Disneyland has to offer.
Its rich history and iconic characters will please both young children and teenagers alike. With park-hopper passes to both Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks, the Anaheim resort offers the perfect three-, five- and seven-day trip for family. At both parks, children will relive classic movie adventures like “Pirates of the Caribbean,” visit Snow White’s castle and venture through the futuristic rides of Star Tours and Space Mountain

When I was still working way back at my home place Philippines, we always do special meetings out of town like if we have  Employee Pricing event we have to do it at the general head office of the company! And usually its situated in the bigger city. I like it when there’s such meetings because it was the only time I can travel to other places. Its work and passion in one! Oh how I missed those times!

Have a great day!

As I was surfing the net and read some articles on different sites, I came accross some very interesting topic about economy. What attracts me most is about gold as the best investment. Some chose to buy gold bullion  as their invesment instead of money since money goes up and down while the cost of gold just gonna keep stronger and stronger as the years go by! Its value goes up from time to time! Isn’t it something to ponder upon?

We thought we will miss ‘christmas at Liseberg’ this year. This place is like a fantasy world and lots of fun shows every christmas and lots to see that are good for family. Every year during christmas season, we used to visit here. We missed last year since we were in Philippines spending our holidays but this year we almost missed it again. We were packed up of so many things on our hectic schedules, but thank God we did it any way on the last hours. That was the last day and short hours before they close the season.

waiting the finest show ever

Since that was still working day, we really came there on their last hours, 3 hours left to be exact. But we still were lucky because since it was their last, they presented a nicest show ever. My children even Erika really enjoyed and saw a winter wonder land!

We also visited the santas place which Angelikka was longing for and an exciting place formy little one! She really enjoyed the place!

So special also when we were there when it closes when, no more there but only few left. The amazing lights and and bright trees seems solemnly waving us saying, so long my friends, see you next year. hehe! Well, that was another fine da with my family! Godbless!

During the birthday of my husband’s cousin, we had the opportunity to visit him and celebrate with him on his special day! His apartment is so masculine and as I was sitting there in his sofa, I noticed something that attracts my eyes, it’s a beautiful box and looks so elegant. So, in my curiousity, I asked him. To my surprise! Its a box of cigars so finely filed up. No wonder he was smiling when I asked him and so proud showing me whats inside!

Places To Visit In Dominican Republic!

If you have the chance to go to the Dominican Republic, where would you go? What would you see?

Have you been to a castle? There is one called Fortaleza Ozama which means Ozama Fortress which construction started in 1502. It was meant to guard against enemies that come from the sea and protect the port Sto. Domingo. It was also used as prison until the 1960. Now the medieval architectural styled building has been restored and is open to the public. Surely pictures with it in the background will make your tour memorable. Sounds like a good place for a great dominican republic holidays, what do you think?

Dominican Republic has one of the best beaches in the world. It is isolated that you need a local to bring you there by a boat 323 km from Sto. Domingo. Be as private as you want and own the beach for a while! Want scuba diving? Go to Bayahibe. If you want to enjoy a resort-like beach then go to Boca Chica.

Do you want to walk the streets of Christopher Columbus’ first settlement? Then Ciudad Colonial, which means colonial city, which is now known as Sto. Domingo, is where you should go. It is a World Heritage site declared by UNESCO.
